Hi everyone, my daughter is almost 1 year old and we switched to cows milk last week. The switch was easy as she had been taking cows milk for months with her breakfast in the morning. She has increased from around 6oz per bottle to 9oz!

I have noticed a dramatic increase in the number of poo's she does a day but worse than that, she has not been sleeping well at all. I'm like a zoombie this morning lol!

Did any of you have this problem?

At the moment she has weetabix or ready break in the morning, then an 8oz bottle at 10ish, lunch at 1ish and her tea at 4ish and finally a 9oz bottle at 6:30 before bed.

She will have a snack of fruit between her tea and the bed bottle.
Should I use the bed bottle now for porridge before bed? I think she must be hungry as I don't think she is teethng. She was a great sleeper until I made the change.

All advice is welcome! Many thanks.

Hi Hun sorry your going through this !! Is your lo still having milk at every meal ? Does she have dinner and a pud ? With my older two they had milk with breakfast juice at lunch where they would have sandwich fruit and a yogurt then tea would b main and pud then milk before bed . Hope this helps xxx

Have u tried offering a snack at 10am instead of the milk? At your los age my lo was having a bottle before breakfast and then before bed, but my 14months it reduced to just bedtime. Hope it gets better for you soon xx

Hey chick,

My Los milk intake increased when we moved to cows milk as well, from 6oz to 9oz. I just put that down to the fact that cows milk just tastes nicer then formula. And we also had an increase in the amount of pooing going on lol.
But I have to say it hasn't effected his sleeping.
My LO has a bottle before breakfast, then a bottle before bed. And sometimes has an extra one at fiveish in the morning (he doesn't really need this one).
He has breakfast at around half eight, lunch at around half twelve and tea at five. Bed time bottle at seven.
xxxxxxx

Thanks everyone. I think I have found the problem....a new tooth!! Never noticed it cutting through until today so hopefully that's the reason.
