Moving from a cot to a bed...

When?!

I don't know whether to get another cot for the new baby or get a bed for Tom and use his cot for the new baby?

Any ideas?

I have seen a similar post on this forum and most people replies seem to be between the age of 18 months - 2 years.

Thanks tiggy, Tom will be almost 2 when the new baby arrives and don't know whether to get a new cot for baby of get a new bed for Tom ad give the baby Tom's cot. Guess I will just have to wait and see if he is ready!

Maybe you could give it a go now and see what happens??? He is around the age that some mums are putting their LO's into a cotbed so you wouldnt being doing anything wrong. If hes not ready you will soon know or it could be the answer to everything. My second baby is due end of July and my son will be 16 months when the newborn arrives. I was going to wait untill my son gets to 18months+ before trying.
