Anyone else suffer? I've got 1 each side of my tongue and another on the inside of my mouth. Eating hurts. Which means I'm eating less which in turn is making me feel sick. Went to buy some iglu in boots yesterday and they told me I wasn't able to have it, the stuff they sold instead is rubbish :-(

I suffer with ulcers but iv been lucky so far. I just use sea salt, I wash my mouth out with it and sometimes put the salt directly on the ulcer. It stings but it works for me. Xx

Supposedly it can be due to vitamin deficiency (or rather, baby is sapping all your reserves).
Maybe try eating more fruit & veg?

I'll try - that's the first time I've heard that! I got told it was an infection I've introduced somehow by using dirty cutlery or something! It's driving me mad though. Might try the salt thing later on! Thanks xx

Fancy seeing you in here! :-) I hope the ulcers are feeling better? xx

Ha! Yeah they've mostly gone now. I've got a little one on my jaw but I can eat properly again without a tantrum so it's ok!!

Urgh... I feel your pain. I have always suffered but they have been a perminant fixture throughout my pregnancy. I haven't found anything that stops them occurring and I eat a lot of fruit and veg plus take prenatal vitamins. I have found some good trigger them, spicy food and vinegary stuff. Which is a nightmare as they are all I want too eat!! There is a Bonjela thing you can get which dries like a plaster. This allows you too eat without pain. The best stuff for healing I've found is the cheap Boots mouth ulcer gel

Really funny, but last week only a few days after your post I realised I had one on the end of my tongue!
Thankfully it only lasted a few days but it was really annoying because it hurt every time I ate, or if it touched my teeth.
