Mouth open and bbt

Does sleeping with your mouth open make your reading higher or lower? I've just taken my bbt and it was 36.78, I think my mouth was slightly open, I'm not usually a mouth open sleeper. I'm 11dpo, due on on Sunday x

I would think it would make it lower.

It will make it lower as heat will escape if your mouth is open. I've heard you can bbt vaginally but personally ive never fancied doing it that way lol. x

Hmm ok, so could this be a good sign then? I know you shouldn't read too much into things but it's hard not to isn't it x

It could be but I'd wait and see...I've had my temp go up near the end of the cycle only to come down again.

Once you go past 18 days of luteal you are pregnant...but you can do a test before then of course. I don't usually test - I just watch my temps x
