Callums mouth has bled twice this week. Not loads like.

Theres no visible teeth coming through yet but could it be due to teething?

Galen sometimes has a snagged nail and then catches his mouth and it bleeds a bit. Could it be from that possibly?

Not sure it would be teething - Charlotte never bled when her teeth were coming through but not sure if this varied from baby to baby. Is he showing any other signs of pain?

Ooooh Poor Dear!!!

I have hurd about bleeding gums when teething, but it sounds painful for Calum :(

Finlay's gums didn't bleed when he had teeth coming through.
I agree with Sherlock - he could have scratched his mouth with his nails. Finlay is bad for that - cuts his face :(

Hope he is ok

Sam had this last week, i think he scratched his gum with his nails, all better now...

Must be that then

Havent seen him do it though...

Thanks girls

Same thing happened to us this week, scared us as she had been irritable all day and suddenly she was dribbling blood!

I read up on it and it can be teething related but if it is then it wont hurt them any more when it bleeds and you should be able to feel the tooth bud.

We decided she must have scratched herself as her hands are always in her mouth and she screamed as the blood would have started giving the impression it was due to a scratch.

Coopers had this before think he hurt his gums with a toy he was playing with xx
