Does anyone have experience with mosquito bites on a baby? My LO got about 10 of them on his face when a few mosquitoes got trapped in his net a few nights ago. The bites seem to be receding, but then he'd be rubbing his head somewhere and they get redder and more pronounced again. He doesn't look to be bothered by them at all, but he looks as if he has the chicken pox and I just want them gone from his little face. Any idea how long it takes for them to disappear or how I can speed up the healing?

Try mixing bicarb of soda with a little water to make a paste and dab that on them. Bicarb seems to help everything.

The best thing, if possible, is smear the bites with breast milk. That'll clear 'em up quicker than anything else. Xx

Thanks for the advice! I just put breastmilk on them and hope for the best. We went to a wedding today and the bride actually asked me if he has the chicken pox :S

How're they looking today? Calmed any? Xx

I didn't notice any difference the first day but after 2 days they were very much better :) That was some great advice, thanks again!
