I suppose I should be grateful that I sailed through the pregnancy when I had my daughter, but I feel that I'm getting all the problems with this one that I didn't get before. And I'm now totally and utterly fed up! Sorry to moan on again  , but I just need to have a whinge.

I was supposed to be going to my friends wedding on Saturday, but didn't make it. :( Saturday morning, DH and I drove my daughter to her Dad's in Telford. I refuse to use the loo in his house, so managed to hold it until I got home. After 3 hours in a car I had the most horrendous and painful backache, and was bursting for the toilet when we got home. I went to the loo, wiped, and there was some pink blood on the toilet paper. Not much, just about the size of a 2p piece. I called DH and he took a look and said he couldn't see where it had come from, so started to put his shoes on to take me to the hospital. I told him that LO was kicking and moving round constantly at that minute, so I wasn't worried, and the odd spot of blood is normal. He then confined me to the sofa. At about 4pm, I went to the loo again, and there was about the same amount of blood in my pantliner, but nothing on the toilet paper. DH again was wanting to take me hospital, but I said No as LO was still moving great. I managed to calm him down by phoning NHS direct, who told me it was perfectly normal, but to go to A & E if it got any worse, or if baby stopped moving. So I spent the rest of the day and evening on the sofa and didn't make it to the wedding. :(

I was than ordered by DH to spend all day Sunday in the same spot and not to move. So a really boring bank holiday was had by all.

Yesterday wasn't too bad as I managed to talk him into letting me go into town for an hour. Then we met up with his cousins and their 2 georgeous kids in a local pub for a late lunch. Then back to the sofa for the rest of the day. He didn't want me to come to work today, but I have the midwifes at 1.15, and have promised him that if she is at all worried, I will go home.

LO is having his own little World Cup tournament inside my tummy at the minute, so I know he is perfectly fine, but I am really, really fed up with me having all the problems. :( High blood pressure, swollen feet, backache, heartburn, bleeding to name but a few. And the third trimester is just around the corner, which is where the problems really start!!!

C'mon girls - cheer me up!!!!!

Blimey thats all you need! But as you said 3rd tri is just round the corner and soon you will be holding your l/o. Fingers crossed for you and everyone else that we all sail through the rest of our pregnancy.

Let us know what the midwife says. x

Oh no... that's all you need!

Just when you think things can't get any worse!

I'm also getting kicked to bits...it feels like she's trying to break out!

Sorry I can't cheer you up but you can take some comfort in the fact that I feel as miserable as you, spd, backache, swollen feet and ankles, bit of protein in urine, on/off high blood pressure.

I'm hoping to feel better later when I go for my 3d scan...that's if we can see her...at te rate she's moving around in there we've no bloody chance!

Welcome back Imwarr! How was Lanzarote???

Sam - you have actually cheered me up. Just to know that someone else is around the same stage as me and is experiencing the same problems as me is making me feel better. When is your scan??

Oh hun im sorry. I feel pretty miserable with this SPD i have so i think i would be climbing the walls if i were you.

I hope everthing goes well with the midwife.

A colleagues wife has just brought his 10 week old daughter in to see us. I can smell baby on my arm from cuddling her. Also, MrsG brought her georgeous daughter in on Friday, and I had a really long cuddle with her. It's made me realise that all the pain I'm in at this minute is worth it. It's only going to be 3 months until I'm holding my own beautiful little baby, and I can cope with this until then.

Sorry for moaning again everyone, you are great. :D

Welcome to the club, had my whinge last week as I was feeling fed up as well. My bank holiday wasn't that grand either spent most of it on my back (side). Fortunately I didn't have any spotting but I'm just very hormonal at the mo, I'm not normally a moody person, but now I just seem to start welling up for no reason - which can't be very nice for my OH. Have decided to do some retail therapy at lunch time today as I just work off of Oxford st, that should help!
Hang on in there tankett, we can all sympathis with you and obviously it's all worth it, besides we're nearly there now - that labour table is almost in our sights  !

Well I went to the midwifes and she examined me and couldn't find any reason for the bleeding on Saturday. So good news!!

LO made her jump when she was prodding my tummy, cause he prodded her back!!! It was really funny!!! She said he is already head down (but that can obviously change daily at this stage), and I commented that I kept getting a bit of pain periodically right under my breastbone between my ribs. She said that if he has been head down for a while, that is probably his feet when he stretches. Even though I have already been through this once, it is still amazing to think that that pain I am getting is from a tiny tiny foot prodding me!!  It almost brought a tear to my eye, especially hearing his really strong heartbeat. I've booked the next appointment later in the day so DH can come and listen to the heartbeat too.
