hi ya girls, wellafter more tests and scans at the hospital today, it is what i suspected... a molar pregnancy. very very rare and alot to get my head around. I have a placenta thats growing at a rapid pace but no baby and its releasing sky high hormones ( much higher then any normal pregnancy) hence why iv been feeling so rubbish. I have to be put under general tomoro morning to get it all removed and then be referred to london specialist clinic as its rare and our hospital dont deal with it. I will have to have regular urine samples for the next 6 months to make sure my hormones go right back down to 0. I will not be allowed to get pregnant for at least another year and im not allowed any hormones in my body ( contraceptioon wise). The drs and nurses were just as puzzled about it and know as much as i do. they only see 1 patient a year with a molar pregnancy. Be glad when i start to feel normal again. thought id let you know whats going on x

sorry :( just seen that, take care.

Sorry to hear your going through this it's a really horrible thing. My SIL also had this and I'd not heard of it until then either, a really cruel and heartbreaking thing to happen having to deal with the loss of a baby and possible cancer at the same time. But on a positive note she got pregnant as soon as she got the all clear (after 6 months) and went on to have a normal pregnancy and beautiful healthy little girl 3 months ago. Hope you keep well x

Sorry to hear this news- had never heard of this before! Hope all goes well for you and that you get back to normal soon xxx
