Missing you all.....

Lol i think its a generation thing Pinky - my gran is just like that!

I agree with Nanc i think you lovely mummies should post and give us some tips/warnings etc! lol x

Yeah I think it is too!

Also agree with nanc, give us your tips ladies :)

Not sure that feel in any way qualified to give tips but can try ....

1. Enjoy every second as it goes so fast - can't believe Ella is five weeks already!

2. Try swaddling if your lo wont sleep at the start.

3. Don't buy too many clothes as you will be given loads once lo arrives.

4. Lasinoh nipple cream really helps if you do get tender nipples when bf.

Can't think of anything else at the moment...

Really cute photo of your boys Lex! Glad Jaiden is being a good baby for you.
Thanks for the tips so far Jodie... I am definitely going to try the swaddling, but the horse has already bolted on the clothes I'm afraid... Baby clothes are just too cute! If you think of anything else let us know....
Xxx

Dentonox is brilliant for windy.babies it.goes.straight in the bottle...
Have a few.dummies in different shapes and sizes Archie didn't.really like the orthadontic ones.but loves the cherry ones helps when he is.over.feeding but.wants.to suck something.

Defo agree with swaddling it works wonders.

If you can get a milk powder dispenser if you not breast feeding you add in the amount of powder you need.for each bottle it holds three so so much easyer for night feeds saves.you going downstairs as you can have.everything ready in with you x x

Even in this weather, put socks on babba under their baby grow at night as their extremities are the first to get cold and that's when they wake up so socks help them sleep longer.

Pull out the little frills round the edge of the nappy so thy don't leak.

Baby massage with olive oil works a treat after bath time. Really relaxes them. Well it does for my baby anyway. He can be screaming blue murder until I start massaging him, he loves it!!

Muslins are invaluable!! Can't have enough! I have a stack of bibs that I've never used!!!

If baby won't poo, try a tiny bit more water to the scoop of milk so it's not as rich just until they poo and offer water during the day.

Can't agree more about the swaddling. That's if your baby likes it. Reshaun hated it, J loves it!

Once I've tried and tested some other things I'll let u know if they work for us!! Xxx

i agree alot with all these

swaddling is great

the milk podwer dispenser are a god send

i use muslins too they protect your clothing only thing is my ds is 3 and refuses to give up his cloth lol

enjoy every second and capture alot of these on film or camera :)

Haha what's swaddling again plzz??

I remember the midwife telling me that if Remy didn't poo try a carton of the ready made milk as theres some thing in them that loosens baba up

Socks under baby grow I used with Remy to,

If baby has wind n u go docs they will try to give u infercol which isn't that good, ask for them to prescribe coleaf it's about 8pound a bottle but it's good stuff n u just pop a drop in made bottles,

Olive oil is some thing I also used on Remy n it's fab on there skin, Remy had dry hands n feet

If baby poo's threw vest n it's every were just cut the vest of (only worth about 20p) instead of trying to take it bk of over there head n covering em head to toe in poo...... U can use the safety sizzors

If ur scared of cutting there tiny tiny nails, just go over them once or twice with a Lil nail fill, takes all sharpe edges of that will scratch them x

If I think of any more from when I ad Remy I'll upp em x x x

swaddling is when you wrap the baby snuggly up in a sheet/blanket you can buy swaddle blankets too

Ooo didn't know about the socks!!! Gonna try that one.

I second the muslins god send never used a bib yet.

Ooo also lavender baby bedtime bath actually works!!!! X x

Hoo right yer I do that wi Lil lad anyway, they seem to feel more secure n snug like that x x bless

I didn't know about the socks either so I might try that one too!

Just thought of another one - if your little one gets windy you can try raising up the head end of the moses basket/crib slightly.
