Miscarriage?

not the right forum to be on but need advice please
i currently have the coil, had it start of november, and my periods were normal after and lasted 4-5 days, ive come on and ive had a period lasting 11 days, is this normal? it started off really light, then day 6 it got heavy and i had cramping also in my back, ive looked up possible signs of a miscarriage and i seem to tick all the boxes, ive never had a period this long before.. advice anyone please? x

Is it the coil with hormones hun?
If so, that can cause all kinds of weird bleeding xx

A friend at uni is having hers out, as she has been having really long periods. I think the chances of it being a mc would be very very low

its thecopper coil without the hormones in, ive had the coil since november and my periods were normal x

Ah right. No contraception is 100% hun so nothing is impossible but as far as I'm aware it's the copper in the coil that kills off the sperm and then doesn't let any egg attach and implant.
Still possible though, like with any contraception x

true, yeah doctor said it isnt 100% :/ im gonna have to see doctor again ask them for advice and see what they say
x the bleedins stopped now just got worried!
