Mirena Coil

I went to the doctors today to discuss my contraception and she thinks that the coil would be a good idea.

Our family is complete and she says that next to sterilisation this is the best contraception. I dont why I dont want sterilised. She said this would not be a good contraception for a woman wanting to get pg in the next year or so.

I cant get it for a few weeks though because I had a section.

Just thought I would post this for other peoples info.

i have got this and its been okay. i had a few hormonal issues at the beginning. i bled for a couple of months more or less continously. i had a period end of June then one middle of august and nothing since. not gained weight so all in all not too bad.

i am thinking of getting the coil. but not one with hormones as i react bad too them, but my check is next week

my sil reacts badly to the contraceptive pill, but she was a bit weepy to begin with and now she is fine.
