Miracle cold cure please?

Hi everyone,

I'm 20+3 and currently starting Day 3 in bed with a horrible cold ( sore throat, congestion, sinus pain, headache, coughing/sneezing). And I was wondering if anyone knew of only miracle cure that we're allowed to take. I normally depend on lemsips and nasal spray and can function pretty normally with those, but I'm pretty sure they're not allowed atm.

I've tried lemon and honey, Vicks and steam baths and they only provide very temporary relief.

On the plus side baby keeps giving me little sympathy kicks - I'm assuming that's what they are, although they could be "stop coughing and waking me up" kicks .

Any advice would be much appreciated

Vicks on the soles of your feet at bedtime with socks over. Also blast a hairdryer on your face for 10 mins (obviously not too close or hot) as the heat kills the bugs. Feel better soon! x

Hey Hun, I'm 19 weeks pregnant and recently suffered with a nasty cold and chest infection for 3 weeks, my doctor said you can have lemsips they won't hurt baby and neither will nasal sprays, I didn't have the lemsips though I used dissolvable paracetamol in hot water with lemon and honey and it helped ease it and helped unblock my nose it also tasted better than lemsip xxx

Thanks both, i think im through the worst of it now . Defintely horrible not being able to take anything! Fingers crossed thats my annual cold done now! Mx
