Just come back from holiday, we went with some friends of ours. Anyway we were on the eurostar and my friend brought back cups of tea from the buffet coach, and then was handing them out to us when the train went round a bend soooo fast it knocked all of us and she dropped a cup of tea right onto my lap and I was holding Isaac...I woke everyone up with my screaming which woke Isaac up as we'd FINALLY got him to sleep. Anyway, I have a large pinkish patch on my leg and we checked Isaac over and at the time he had nothing on him and no tea appeared to splash on him, and he calmed down really quick so thought it was just the shock of it all. But now I've checked him and there is a little tea stain on the foot of his sleepsuit and a couple of red marks on his heel   only little marks but they are there and I feel so bad for him though he doesn't seem to notice it lol

ANYWAY whole point of this post (apart from to get sympathy lol) what can I put on myself and Isaac to help the burns? Mine is just sore to touch but not too bad and Isaac's just look red but don't seem to bother him. Would sudocrem be any good? I noticed it says for minor burns on the front?

Was so embarrassing me screaming on the train, everyone was asleep and they all woke up cos of me and then cos of Isaac screaming like mad, gotta laugh about it now, but me and DH so incredibly thankful it didn't go all over Isaac, we'd have been running to the toilet to run him under the sink

Sudocrem would probably work well for him. I had burnt myself quite badly on the oven and had taken Becky to the HV to be weighed when the HV saw my arm. She bandaged me up with this stuff http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/INADINE-5X5CM-DRE ... 9002r24804 which was fantastic. But if they aren't too bad on you, sudocrem or savlon would probably be fine.

And  for you because you must have got such a fright.

This is a long shot you may/may not have some but Virgin Vie Guardian Angel is amazing on burns.

Its pretty pricey but you can use it on lots of things, stings, bites, chapped skin, dry skin, burns, to soften cuticles.

OMG I cant believe how much it has come down in price this was £20 when I first bought mine in 2002 and Im, still using it.

Meant to say, I got a teatree cream from Waitrose (sure you can get it elsewhere too) - and it is great on everything from a great big spot on your chin to a burn.

Thanks all, the burn cleared up yesterday, which was the first day I could've gotten anything due to it being Christmas  I'm now very paranoid with hot drinks around LO :talkhand:

Will note for future reference though. Thanks girls!
