Sophie still has a bottle of milk in morning and night,

was just wondering if anyone elses 2yr still has milk, also i want to get her off milk do u think i should wait till baby has been here a while before i take sophies bottle away cos she will only get jelous if i take her bottle now and in a weeks time she sees me giving baby a bottle???

just wait until the baby is here and say you have to give it to them now as shes a big girl

I took ellas bottle away at 15 months, i hate seeing kids with bottles but thats just my opinion, as soon as ella could use a cup i figured she had no need for a bottle

i understand what u say about not liking kids with bottles after a certain age, sophie only has milk in her bottle morning and night and i would never dream of giving her a bottle outdoors.

Why not take her to the shop and get her to choose her own pink sparkly beaker? If she has a special cup maybe she'll wean herself off the bottle.

sera had a bottle till she was 3 ish with squash n stuff in i didnt see the poiny of makin her have a beaker if she wanted a bottle lol

im gonna get bayley off bottles when hes 2 tho i think

sophie drinks out of all sorts of beakers during the day, has a great pink piglet breaker that she drinks her milkshake in, but miss madam will not drink her milk in the morning or night out of anything else but a bottle

Jaycees friend Freya is the same, she as her milk in a bottle and juice in a cup (just started) And she's 2yrs and 7 months.
I dont see the problem with it if its a morning and nighttime thing. I wish jaycee still drunk milk! Its great that she loves milk. U never have to stop giving it to her just maybe get a different cup? Or one of those ones with straws?
Let her pick a new one when baby comes, or give her a fab new one from baby as a gift?

This mirrors my situation exactly. Im more than happy to let her have her morning and evening bottle. Its the only way im going to get her to take milk and she will stop when she is ready. Im not going to stop it just now as the baby is just here and I feel she needs to get used to Joe first before I start changing things for her. Im leaving getting shot of the dummy and potty training till xmas time as well, that gives her about 4 months with Joe and hopefully she wont associate these things going with his arrival.

Could you give it to her in a BIG girls cup

Ella is two next week and for the last 4 months has had her milk from a real cup (plastic)

Dior still has a bottle
she never takes harleys or gets jelous of his

all diors are pink harleys are blue
if none of Diors bottles are clean i try and give her harleys she gives me it back and says harley.

Dior has a beacker in the day but bottles for bed im fine with.
il only stop diors bottle at bedtime once im trying to get rid of the nappy

untill then i think bottle for bed is fine
