Hi hi, can anyone recommend any good breast milk storage bags? And ones that don't cost a fortune. They seem to be very over priced in boots, and I would rather freeze in small volumes!
Also is there such a thing as a freezer bag or cool bag for stored breast milk for when we go on a trip away?

Amazon is always good, they normally have a deal on one brand or another.

When we went away I took a coolbox with icepacks in it to keep the breastmilk cool. It was actually still cold 24hrs later so worked brilliantly!

...I use the medela bags because they can be attached straight to the breastpump, they are pretty good but I can't remember how much I paid sorry! X

£1.98 (I think) from home bargins for a box of 25. I use these and have had no issues with them :)

Fab didn't think of home bargains! Thanks!

wow! Thank You. I bought a pack for £5.99 from Mothercare so will have a look in HB. We went to a wedding recently and my friend lent me her electric cooler so we were able to plug it in at our hotel room and use when needed while I enjoyed a few white wine spritzers.

I was advised by the breast feeding lady to use normal ice cube bags so u can just defrost what u need rather than the whole bag, she said to test with water then defrost a cube to work out how many ounces the cube/cubes will give u as they r all different sizes. This way u don't waste any milk. X

That's a great idea!

No bags in our local home bargains :-(
