midwife yesterday

hi all
i had my midwife appointment yesterday and everything s absoluty fine although she said baby is lying low down (which explains the feeling of my overies getting stamped on every now and then ) she also said it can make labour happen early has any body got any insight into this or had the same sort of experience.
