Hi i wrote not long ago saying i had a bad experience when i went to the hospital doctor who was to put it nicely a dick.
He acted like i was 40 stone and i shouldn't have got pregnant, he laughed at me when i asked what a Glucose tolerance test was and didn't tell me, He told me if i wasnt induced early my baby could be in danger or die, All things very upsetting for a first time mum with no clue whats normal. He told me i should be on Vitamin D and had a go at me for not having the HIV bloods done.
So i told my midwife what he was like and she was fuming... she is complaining to her manager and gave me addresses to write into and she basically said she was sick of how the doctors at the hospital where treating the women who go because a few had come back upset.
She also said i didn't need to see them every two weeks like he said because my blood pressure is 'nice and low' and there are no complications. she said they only give vit d to women who wear things like Burkas and so don't get as much sunlight for the vitamin d, i don't wear one so i don't need it, nothing to do with weight. Anyway she was so much madder than i thought she would be!
Im glad she thought he was out of order and it wasn't just me, i was starting to think that i was just hormonal but apparently im not the first to come back with a bad experience! xx
