midwife today

got my first midwife appt this morning at 9am.

How exciting. I hope she books me in for my first scan

When I made the appt 4 weeks ago it seemed so far off, I thought it would never come!!!! but now it's today!!!

didn't have time to update earlier.
saw my midwife who was lovely - but looked so young!!!! - i guess this is what happens when you get older, everyone starts to look younger

but as i say, she was really nice and we had a lovely long chat. i've got to wait a week for my paperwork to get forwarded to the hospital and then i can ring them to book my dating scan. midwife seemed to think they would hopefully get me in just before christmas. which would be a lovely christmas pressie if i can see everything is ok.

but how exciting - i've now got official maternity records!!!
