Midwife appt

Well I am off for my first MW appt this afternoon and discuss early scan, my GP said there shouldn't be any problem getting one as she has advised it would be a good idea. I actually miscarried at exactly this stage last time so feeling rather strange today. I have been having cramping so I will mention that to her today - fingers crossed I don't have to wait too long for scan.

Thanks girls, all went well this afternoon.

Had booking in appt, bloods taken, urine, weight and height etc and she has referred my to EPU for an early scan. I have to call up tomorrow morning for scan date, they said they will try for my 12 week scan to be early too so I don't wait too long. They were lovely, didn't meet my actual midwife as she is in hols.

Apparently my GP should of bloody contacted EPU for me and sorted this out but it hasn't happened, she said the MW just can't get you a very early scan.

According to dates I am actually due on 21st January.
