We're Team Yellow and aren't too concerned with having names completely ready for when baby arrives, as long as we have a bank of names we're going to see what suits baby....but struggling with middle names. We have a double barrelled surname (2 syllables in each name!) so think that's made it harder. We did like James John for the middle names if we have a boy as that's both Grandad's but I'm worried it'll be too much of a mouthful! Can't decide whether it is or it will only be when filling forms etc.... so much to think about!

We're open to most names and not set on using the boys names I've mentioned above, really just come a bit stuck...

Boys names we like

Finlay
Archie
Ethan
Ewan (hubby not so keen on this)

Girls names

Arabella
Amelie
Chloe
Isla

...actually for girls we've decided against Rose, May & Grace as middle names as have heard them alot. I do quite like Elise & Belle.

So if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to share!

Sorry I probably didn't make sense...the list of names are the first names we like but we're struggling for middle names for each of them. Thanks for your input on first names though )

yeah i see that now,. im just dumb haha

what doews your surname start with?

I like Ethan John
or ethan James

not sure on girls names.

If we had a boy, James or John would have been middle name.

You're right, Rose, May and Grace are common middle names. My daughter has Grace as middle name, and my stepdaughter has May as middle name.

Have you got any family names you can use? Although I love Elise and Belle.

My husbands grandma was Molly, and my mums middle name Juliana so our baby will have one of them.

Molly is a nice middle name

i wanted faith but it didnt work with any of my girls names.

Surname starts with T )

That's funny Toria! Coincidence! Do you know what you're having? Not long to go! I do really like the names I've ruled out, my name is so common just fancied something diff! My Grandma was Lilian but there's a Lilly already in the family but not deff ruled it out as do like some meaning behind names. My mum is Julie so Lillie would be half of each, just a bit of a mouthful again with the first names we like. My other Grandma is Barbara so think we'll be leaving that! Lol x

Yeah Jojo there's not a shortage of names (esp for girls!) it's just getting it all to work lol x

We couldn't fine d a name we both agreed in. We found gurus harder than boys cus there's so many names I hate! I wanted Cecelia fir a girl but hubby refuses point blanc

I love your lists! (Arabella is my fave!)..
I'm crap at name suggestions.. For a girl we had the middle name Ivy & for a boy we had Brett (not everybody's cup of tea but I love it).. Xx

Yeah I keep going from Arabella to Amelie as my faves! Ivy is lovely.....not one I've come accross yet so thanks )
