Mervs mum- I should have listened to you!!!

Ohhhhh i got a quote from them once and it was a fortune!! I told the guy it was robbery and at least dick terpin had the decency to wear a mask  xx

I stear clear of these people at all costs! I had a quote from Dolphin bathrooms, £12,000 no less! His sales pitch wasn't great telling me that everyone basically pays the same price no matter the work, that a sale doesn't actually mean any discount and to top it off he went to measure the bathroom and went for a wee........without closing the door........without actually asking if I minded!!! Then he phoned umpteen times asking if his family could afford to eat for the next few weeks.......I mean he was like in his 60's. Rant over, I went with a local plumber :)

Lmao very very funny! x Aw I wouldn't go with hillary's blinds either-they ripped off my friend and took forever to install them. Installed them incorrectly and took forever to come correct them!

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...............

what happened?? Or what didnt happen.....Terrie you nutter you knew that I was wishing for all the salesman's baby boys to have small willies and for the owners of the company to die slow and painful deaths!!!!!

Toon - I thought they were relatively cheap but I soon worked out why. Feckers! They wanted £160 for a blind that I ended up paying £235 for.

well...

they were meant to come friday, they were a no show, the guy turned up today and he was FILTHY.. like seriously his hands were black, theres now black footprints all over Ffions cream carpets and a black handprint on the wall where he leant on it whilst he was talking to me.

and to top it off he wasnt a 'specialist' so couldnt provide me with a quote for our sky light and told me i had to ring up and rebook an appt with somebody else who was 'trained'

he was very rude.. could tell he was in a rush.. and he gave Rhys his tape measure to play with!! a TAPE MEASURE!? a SHARP..DANGEROUS..TOOL!! i was livid and quickly told Rhys to give it back because he could hurt himself. (i know that sounds silly but if rhys was holding it and reclined it quickly he could slice his hand open!)

and then proceeded to tell me that a blind for Ffions bedroom would cost £104.. and her window is TINY!

I quickly told him i would get back to him and was glad to shut the door when he left...

OMG WTbloody hell was he doing handing Rhys a metal tape measure??!! I'd say complain but I did and got nowhere. :|

im glad you understand about the metal tape measure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :trouble:

They were really good here! Obviously we got lucky  ...really nice local man and got a load of cheap, plain blinds in their sale

the sales man we had was really nice. My uncle had a mega successful franchise of Hilary's in Northampton so my parents have had blinds from him. I just assumed they would all be the same but I guess this is one of the pitfalls of franchised businesses.....they cant always all be the same.

OMG!! He sounds like a right tool!!

I'm completely biased as my aunt works for them but we use Homefair blinds, unfortunately they only cover the NE and NW.
