mayo from the local takeaway

If I wanna order a chicken burger from the local takeaway (just normal, pizza, burger, kebab kinda place) will it be safe to eat the mayo from there? Is it likely to be pasteurised? Xxx

Can't see it being home made at a takeaway, they normally buy massive jars of the cheap stuff from the cash and carry which is fine x

Good question. I LOVE the chicken burgers and have one nearly every week and it not done me any harm. I,m pretty sure it,s ok, it,s just homemade mayo that's a no no.

if you are worried you could ask for no mayo.

but it should be fine, as said above, its unlikeley to be homemade.

People have been telling me different things and that mayo is a no-no, but thats OH just trying to stop me eating it, because I have it with EVERYTHING lol!! glad i know this now x
