*****May 2016 Mummies*****

Welcome to May mummies Nikkijayne, hope to join you in tri 2 soon because......

I AM 12 WEEKS TODAY!!!!!!! Scan on Monday. Feeling so relieved to have got this far with no real problems, just hope the scan confirms that everything is ok, (I've had a bad experience at a 12 week scan before) and that there is actually a baby in there, wriggling away.

Question, scan is at 1.50pm, they want a sample of FMU. How should I 'store' it until the appt? Please excuse my ignorance!

They didnt ask for fmu off me.
I did a wee after the scan and they just dipped it then did my bloods xx

I know, I can't remember having this problem last time although i must have had afternoon appointments. The scan appt letter specifically says fmu though, question is, where do I put the pot in the meantime?

I was 12 weeks yesterday on my bday and baby decided to be nice and not make me sick!! Guess it's off to tri 2 now!!!xx

I have no clue!
Unless u can nip to drs today and ask receptionist for a sample pot so u can take that to hosp with u.
U dnt need to keep it cook or anything so aslong as the lid is sealed just pop it in ur hand bag ready x

I have a pot so no probs there, just wondered on what temp to keep it at. Guess I can just leave it bathroom until I go. Just seems weird to me. The things we do!

Me used to ask for fmu sometimes when i went for appointments with mylb.
I always just kept it to the side ready xx

Feeling so ridiculously emotional now :-( I'm tired, hungry and totally fed up of being on my own all week while OH works away. Since I went back to work after maternity leave in May, he's had maybe 4/6 full weeks at home. Since mid July, he's been in London mom-fri, and I've honestly had enough of it. It's hard enough being at home with a 1 yr old, trying to keep on top of the house and working too; now throw in being pregnant and the horrendous exhaustion that comes with it and it's just hell. I'm barely coping and can't see how it's going to work when this baby comes along, I literally cannot do it. I feel like I'm completely on my own. Every time I say something, he just gets annoyed with me and says there's nothing I can do, stop taking it out on him - who else is there for me to take it out on?! I'd happily have it out with his boss if he'd let me haha but I fear he wouldn't have a job at all if I did that!!
To top it off (I know this sounds totally trivial and ridiculous) he broke our oven about a month ago and seems reluctant to do anything about it. Of course it doesn't bother or affect him as he's never here, and when he is, there's (sometimes) an extra pair of hands to help cook or get a takeaway, or a meal out. Its hard enough some nights to find something I can stomach with the random nausea that appears, especially when I'm over-hungry. I'm fed up of eating pasta, toast, sandwiches, cereal, rice dishes, boiled pots, micro meals.....I really just want a Chinese tonight but have no cash on me and can't get out to get any with Oscar in bed. OH rang to say he wouldn't be back till midnight tonight, asked what I'd had for tea, then got annoyed when I snapped at him about not having a clue what to do with no oven

Hun I feel your pain! I had a full meltdown at work tonight - crying and everything because I'm
So
Emotional! Then everyone was so nice and I cried because they were so nice . I was not like this with my son!!

I'm feeling very emotional at the moment too. Whenever people ask me how I'm doing I feel like I want to cry

Glad it's not just me. I definitely don't remember feeling this emotional last time! I was moody lol, but I never cried or got upset over little things. I cried at Jeremy Kyle yesterday morning! I woke up crying from my random dreams too :-/
Never a dull moment in pregnancy! Xx

Oh girls! The high emotions are awful. Hope you're all feeling a little better soon!!

Waiting now in hospital for my scan. 30 mins to go. SO nervous :-(

Good luck :-) nice to have an early scan and not be waiting nervously all day. Looking forward to hearing an update :-) xx

All good! I've been put back a week which I kind of expected, so only 10 weeks instead of 11! Got my "proper" dating scan next week because she said the machine in epu wasn't great! X

Yay! And nice you'll get to see baby again - I'll have to go back in two weeks for the NT scan because mine was too small on Wednesday (11 weeks), was a bit disappointed first but now really glad I'll get another glimpse.

Glad it went well Tigger, hurrah for getting another sneak peak.

I've been really emotional lately. I sing in a choir and at last rehearsal I sang a bum note in a solo, had to really work hard not to burst into tears, left quickly at the end and had a good sob in the car. Ridiculous.

Yay :-) glad all went well for you. It's so nice to get an extra peek at baby too.

Been playing with Oscar this morning, taking some practice 'announcement' pics ready for after we've had the scan next Monday, he didn't seem too impressed think we'll have to keep trying lol xx

That's so cute!!

We found out today that our almost 20 month old son us more grown up than we are. Made peppa pig muddy puddle pancakes fir breakfast and our son decided he'd rather have toast. So there he was, eating toast with a fork and his parents (aged 31 & 37) were eating tiny chocolate pancakes lol.
