Where are you ladies buying your maternity clothes from? In particular workwear?

I'm required to look smart at work and spend a lot of money on work outfits but I'm about done with my usual wardrobe now.

The clothes I've seen so far just aren't doing it for me.. lol.

Any tips?

oh god i thought this would be a general question about maternity wear.

Workwise I feel so limited. Ive got a few very formal events coming up and need formal wear but dont know where to look.

Otherwise I can get away with semi casual clothing when I am based in office so ive found Boohoo.com to be useful as they have a maternity range and anything with stretch (elastane) is my friend right now.

I no longer feel comfortable with trousers and sometimes skirts.

Depends on your budget too.

I'd also like to know where to shop.

At the same time this is going to be such a waste. We may outgrow them and they will be stocked away once pregnancy is over. oh well it is what it is

I got a lot of my tops in the Debenhams sale. Got loads at a great price x

Yeah I second Dorothy Perkins and also ASOS. I've had zero luck anywhere other than online x

I've only really got casual stuff which I've got from Asda, Mothercare and Dorothy Perkins. Also had a few pieces from ASOS. I'm still wearing some dresses and loose/stretchy tops from my normal wardrobe. I had work trousers from Next with my first pregnancy and they were quite comfy. I need some work stuff, but know I'm only back for 10 weeks in total, so don't want to waste money!

It's quite tough isn't it? I just bought 2 dresses one from dotty Ps and one from red herring and they've come but they are that jersey type material which I don't like that much. And I don't find washes very well either. I'm not buying loads of work clothes so they need to be robust with the washer.

Everything else I've seen hasn't been that suitable for work really. I'd like a nice coat as well if I can given the season but I just can't find anything I like that's work suitable! I'm such a fuss pot. I'm not going to have a choice for much longer!

I've got a few bits from Next, might be worth a look x

For casual bits I bought a few oversize tops from silkfred, I've been wearing these with leggings and sandals. I can still fit in my jeans but I just find it comfier in leggings. I'm quite lucky that I don't really need anything smart for work as we don't have a dress code, but if I do need to attend any meetings at all then I'll buy something from Next as I think their range is supposed to be quite good xx

I've bought some casual stuff from H&M. And a pair of leggings in a bigger size and some floaty tops in a bigger size. Just going to have to somehow muddle through!

There's a website that has nice work wear called Serephine http://www.seraphine.com/

In my last pregnancy I got away with stretching my normal wardrobe out until the last couple of months where my mum got me a couple of H&M dresses which were okay but probably not for meeting clients.

This time round I bought some dresses for work in Motherhood Maternity when I was on holiday in the States. Don't think they ship to the UK but it might be worth a look. The website link above is quite smart stuff if you do need to do a lot of meetings.

Fortunately I only do 2 days / week in the office now so am getting away with a limited wardrobe though need more casual clothes now than last time! x

At work I have to wear a uniform! The trousers are driving me absolutely insane now I'm starting to get a bit of a bump!

But most of my casual wear I get from Dorothy Perkins, asda, and sometimes a sneaky look on eBay pays off too :D
