Just bid on a bundle of second hand clothes on ebay for £20, about 14 items. Im not gonna be in them for more than 6 months so it'd be crazy to buy new i think. Has anybody else bought used clothes.

i quite agree with you.
i got quite a few bits from the charity shops. bigger t shirts and a few baggy cropped trousers in a bigger size.
i only bought my dungarees and a nice t shirt new.
It is a waste of money. if you can get all those items for "20 you have yourself a bargain. Just wash em and they are as new.

I would love to wear dungarees but they would make me look like a whale because i was alrealy a size 16 (size 20 bust) before getting pg :(

I bought a pair of maternity jeans from Ebay (but don't need them quite yet) and will definetely buy more. I'll buy a few new things but as you say, it's daft to go spending a fortune when you won't get much wear out of them

if you are happy with second hand clothes this site is worth a look at . I have bought 3 tops during my pg from here and all have been in mint condition

great bargain by the way

id buy second hand :)

im desperate for a pair of dungarees. cnt find any in the shops

I agree with u too, I bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans and some maternity bands, so hopefully don't need to buy too many tops, actually I might even borrow some t-shirt from my hubby  I would rather save that money and spend it on my little darling

I bought some cropped trousers by Red Herring from Ebay for a really cheap price. They were great. I've bought a dress and a top as well... both were fine.

Other than that I've only bought maternity clothes in the discount Next store or Mothercare sale. Can't see the point of spending £30+ on a top or skirt I am unlikely to wear again after July!

I haven't bought any maternity clothes yet tangerinedream, my wardrobe is very loose, jogger bottoms and jumpers etc so I can still just fit in them, but buying second hand is something I will definitely do yes :)

Thanks for the link cloud9 :cheer:

I bought (and sold) maternity clothes on Ebay, but I'm a complete charity shop addict.

Don't be afraid to ask in your local shop if you're after maternity. They don't always put it out as it's a specialised thing but they may have some in the back.

i havnt bothered buying maternity clothes to be honest, i think with the current trend of loose smock tops they do just as well. plus when you have shops such as primark selling these for about 4-5.00 ive just been stocking up on these

Me too, Im living in tops from Primark at the minute

i love that shop! so cheap and when you are too small to fit into them after you dont really mind getting rid of them for that amount of money. im in 14-16 at the moment and im usually a 8-10 lol

I had a few of those that i wore till I was about 20 weeks then they were too tight on my bump and boobs but yours may last you

its the bottom half im having trouble getting clothes for. im not a tracksuit bottom person so i wouldnt wear them out, im a real jeans person and practically live in them. i bought a maternity pair off ebay with the elasticated band but are way too big yet but my normal jeans are too tight!

Hi

I got one pair of new jeans so far as my ones from Kiara were too small same with half my shirts from my first pregnancy think its cuz i was smaller before my first pregnancy then this one. But my friend gave me a bunch of spring stuff , most of them fit she is smaller then me though.
I only have 4 months left so no point buying much
