Mat forms?

Ok does OH need my Mat B 1 form to get paternity leave? Cause I asked for it at the midwifes and she said its for me and me only and as im not working I don't get it, OH doesn't need anyforms to get his paternity really, am I right?

Cause OH just had a huge row with me blaming me for not getting the matb form cause the midwife wouldn't give me it ! ? x

My chap had to ring up my work and get them to fax through the MATB form to his work, so my chaps work needed the the form. Hope that ramble makes sense dearxxx

We didn't require a matb1 @ my job to grant paternity leave. My OH didn't need it for his work either x

My dh needed it. I thought u got given it regardless of work. I was given 1 wiv my 1st pregnancy and I was still at school. And I'm self employed now and needed it to claim mat allowance xxx

Whether your working or not they should really give you it. Why dont you try your gp and see if they will issue it. I got my gp to give me mine because i forgot to get it from midwife atmy appointment xx

i have never had a form as i dont work, but hubby was always self employed before so never been entitled to paternity leave, he spoke to his work the other day about it and she said she will see what he entitled to and what he will b paid and how many weeks, but never mentioned what he will need to claim it. I hope i dont need one as i not got one.
