I think I've got mastitis right boob is agony I'm aching all over and I was violently shaking for hours. Taken some painkillers and now boiling hot. I'm only expressing 3-4 times a day and feeding formula overnight as breastfeeding didn't work out 
I really want to just stop as agreed with oh after the nightmare with feeding our first i wouldn't carry on if anything went wrong. Any advice on how to stop as read you can't stop while you have mastitis? Should I continue to pump as normal till it goes away and then reduce the amount I'm pumping? I'm going to make a gp appt tomorrow xx

poor you, I had it that bad first time round & needed urgent antibiotics. Deffo get to drs as soon as. Yes I would recommend you pump loads from sore side, put hot flannels on it & have a hot bath & even hand express while your boob is under the water! I'd reduce when the mastitis has completely cleared but deffo do not stop while you have it. Hope you get well soon xx
