I had my first proper back massage on Saturday and it CANED!!

I felt really headachey and sick for a couple days after, now I have an ache in my lower back like AF is coming (not due for over 2 weeks though).

And there was me thinking it was going to be all relaxing and lovely!

It used the birch switch thingy? Wow. Did that hurt? I've always thought that it was kinda weird, and I wouldn't find that in the least bit relaxing.

I was refused a massage at a recent spa break, because I was too soon after a Caesarean. Does anyone know when you can start having back massages again?

I had a proffesional one a couple of years ago and i had a really bad headache for a day or two after wasnt sure it was connected but i guess it could be? maybe it releases toxins or something?

loved the massage itself though - i'm a sucker for a pampering!
