Hi Girls,

We have spent the weekend in London and its killed our Maclaren xt, the wheel is loose and the frame must have been damaged while we have been out and about as it wobbles and doesn't feel safe. It was 2nd hand and we only paid £70 for it so I don't mind, But I now need a new stroller.

I am after advice and opinions, I have a 20 month old. He is a big boy, tall aswell. Whats attracting me to the armadillo is the size of the seat and the big hood (which is what the maclaren had and was amazing on holiday) and all the reviews for the ride which is smooth. Also is folds amazing. And a good size basket.

Now does anybody have this ? Or could you recommend anything else you have which has all the above. I need to get it asap as ours has almost gone

A friend of mine has this pram and loves it! It looks really nice and easy to push! If you want to spend less Id recommend the petite star zia which has the same sized seat and same functions, the only thing is the hood doesn't cover as well as the Armadillo xxx

Oh no I have just seen the XT version of it for £300 ... opps !!
xx

No opinions on the mamas and papas one sorry but I would recommend the zeta vooom stroller, got it online, don't think you can buy it in the shops. Really big hood and is comfy enough for lo to sleep in. The basket is a bit small that's the only negative x

Iv just bought it hehe

Mamas and Papas have price matched the pram centre for £199 so its getting delivered tomorrow.
I have just rang my hubby to tell him id ordered it and he said ' why didn't you get the better one ?'
I cant justify £300 for a stroller !!! It does look a bit nicer with the chrome instead of the black chasis but an extra £100 for just that ??!!

Im happy anyway and that's all that matters

xx

I did come across the zeta when I was googling. I was wanting the more buggy style (if you know what I mean) but still a stroller so its light and easy to fold. I was just saying to my hubby that at the weekend with his coat and blankets on he looked so squished in the stroller and I felt a bit sorry for him :-(
With this having a massive wide seat it should be much for comfy for him

xx
