Making clothesq

So Aaron has a Prince & Princesses birthday party at the end of the month.

Try as I might, I've been unable to find a prince costume in ickle sizes, so I'm going to have a stab at making one (with my limited sewing skills)

It will basically be a

Purple waistcoat
White Hareem Pants
Red sash
Purple Fez

I hope I can do it, I don't want to let my little fella down

This afternoon I made the sash

Made it on pattern paper first, measured it, checked it, checked it again ... cut the fabric and sewed it.

I measured Aaron when he was standing up, so it doesn't fit his budda belly when he's sitting down

Also the seam burst when I turned it the right way round

Lots of lessons learned ... will start again when he goes to bed
