Hey - I am struggling to decide between these two prams. One day i think yes we will go for the Sola and then i think no actually the Silvercross would suit better.

So just wondered if anyone has views / experience on either?

I bought the sola it's the best one for me. It's much less bulky and lighter. So simple to switch to parent facing! I had a silver cross with my first and whether it converts to a pushchair or not it's way too bulky whereas you would use the sola til they're walking and a really don't want to have to buy 2 prams this time. It was also number 2 on the which best buy list, Silver Cross weren't even in the top 15 :)

Oh really hadn't checked out the Which list. Thanks for the advice. I agree its lighter and is the more versatile. I think i just like the snuggly nature of the silvercross and the fact could go from laying down to sitting up easily. Where as the sola will have to have carry cot for first stint and was worried that when baby is more alert and wants to look around it might be better. Hmm i am rubbish at all this lol x

sola is suitable from birth and lies flat, my newborn will be snuggled up in the footmuff. I agree from looks silvercross do look cosier.

I dont have either but my nephew had the silvercross and I have to say it wasnt very smooth and hard to negotiate corners. Not tried the other one!!

Hmm think i will find time to go and get OH to have a play with the Sola as think that is the best bet x

Ive ordered the silver cross linear - my reason for this mainly - was i wanted a travel system, and this is one of the few that you dont have to decide before you get in the car if you want the carry cot or the car seat. A lot of the travel systems need the pram in "buggy" mode to attatch the car seat, the silver cross doesnt.

I have the linear and a m&p rubix and the carrycot is good but my lo liked to sit up a bit where the linear was good for that but it is a bulky pram! I use the rubix for the car and the linear around where I live!
