Lumpy firm bits on my left boob

Anyone else had this its only on my left boob it sometimes has firm big lumps in it as well as my nipple, its horrible and i am starting to get worried about it, it comes and goes so i have no idea what it is.

You should definitely mention it to your midwife. It probably isn't anything to worry about, but just ask to be safe. I had one lump once and I was in Holland so couldn't go to my doctor and was scared and upset the whole time. I ended up calling my mother's doctor and was told it was most likely hormonal and would go away. It did.

i get something like that its just milk glands so should be fine but always best to get checked out

If it comes and goes I would have guessed and said its to do with your pregnancy hun but go and get it checked out to put your mind at rest asap.

cheers girls, i dont think i am explaining it right, its not lumps like little lumps its like half of my boob is one massive lump, i am at the midwifes tomorrow so will mention it then.

It may sound weird and please be careful but have you tried expressing it, i had a huge abcess on one of my boobs and when i squeezed it like i was trying to get milk out it ouzed with green puss(sorry tmi) so will probably need antibiotics.

i was half thinking should i try and see what happened.

make sure you do it as if you are expressing so anything that could come out follows the right channels if you get me.

i havent plucked up enough courage to try expressing it, see if it relieved it a bit, midwife didnt seem that bothered, she said it could be down to my bras. Dont know what to do now. i thought if it was my bras it would be like it in both boobs.
