Hi Ladies!

I have an office job and have noticed I am really suffering with my lower back, the bottom of my spine kills and I have to keep standing up to stop the pain. I am getting headaches too and think this might be the cause, has anyone else had this and if so what did you do?

Thanks! xxxx

I've had to be moved into an office role since becoming pregnant and my back has started playing up. I had a physio come in and assess the my new work place and adjust/changed loads of stuff too. May be worth asking about xxx

I am suffering terribly with my back at the moment. I made an appointment at the doctors and they've referred me to physiotherapy, and I've got my first appointment with them on friday. Might be worth booking in with your GP hun as it may get worse as your pregnancy progresses xx

Have had back pain for years, office chairs are a nightmare. If yours doesn't support your lumbar spine properly it'll just make any pain worse, a small towel rolled up and placed in the small of your back when sitting may help.

If you work for a large company get them to complete a workstation assessment! others should let you know the things you need to make sure are right for you and they need to make the necessary adjustments.

As for easing the existing pain, try sitting on an exercise ball and circling your hips to gently mobilise your spine and loosen any tense muscles or gently arching and dipping your back when on hands and knees!

Thanks girls, I am going to see the doctor, I have suffered with my back in the past but not this part. I have had a workstation assessment but not since being pregnant so I will see what the doctors say xxx
