lower back ache .. normal?

got lower pack ache/pain is this normal? of course as its me im panicking like a mad woman!
got midwife tomoro morning first appointment.

I have this. It sometimes radiates to my bum too! I amtold its normal!! I findit helps to put something small like a rice pack in the arch of ur back when u lie down! Oh that eases it!!!!! Xx

I paniced too! From the minute I found out I was expecting to date. Lots of oppl on here seem to have had it! I gota heating rice pack from wilkos for 4 quid and its bloody brill!!!!! Xx

I've had lower back pain too but that's from where I broke it doing my john travolta impression in the snow last year. If heat doesn't work try cold, ice wrapped in a towel. If the muscles are inflamed heat could make it worse xxxxxxxxx

Yep I've had it minxies! Aand I think I'm a couple of days behind you? I've had it on and off since about 4 weeks though - felt at first like AF pain, but has carried on!

Are you hips hurting too? That was a new one for me a few days ago!

I had it loads minxies. My doc and mw said you can use the iboprufen type gels to rub in your back as it doesn't go into the blood stream just the muscle that and warm baths really helped me. xxx
