Low heartbeat with Doppler!

Hi girls,
I haven't used my Doppler for AGES and because I have been so so busy with Christmas I have noticed that bubba isn't moving around as much as normal. I wanted to check her heartbeat so just got my Doppler out. Last time I listened her heartbeat was above my tummy button. This time her heartbeat was really low, back to the 15 week position I would say! Is that normal? I know they have to turn at some point, but I presumed that would be much later on when she would be head down!!!????

Awww I wouldn't worry, Cub has always been head down and bum up and so his heartbeat (and hiccups!) are always quite low down. I can feel his kicks everywhere now so I'm sure it's just the same with your little one xxxxx

When I went for my 28 week appointment baby was already head down and so far (touch wood) has stayed that way. He's now 3/5 engaged!!

Babies can still turn round up until about 36 weeks so I wouldn't worry hun. Speak to ur mw if ur worried tho xx
