Hello,
Looking for a bit of advice coz slightly worried. I have been getting scanned every four weeks as my BMI is low (underweight) and they wanted to make sure baby was growing ok. Anyway, had my 36 week scan on Wed, she was sifting (sp?) about my stomach like no-ones business and at that moment I knew something was wrong.
I was eventually told, after about 10 mins that the fluid surrounding bubba had dramatically reduced, it was 12cm at 32 week scan and has reduced to 7cm
I've to go back in a weeks time for another scan and measurement of fluid, she told me the danger level is 5cm!!
All i've done is worry ever since...what if I go up next week and fluid has dissappeared and placenta has stopped functioning??
I've been told to monitor bubba's movements and if there is a change or haven't felt baby kick/move for a while then call hosp immediately.
Anyone else been in this situation???
