louie has a cold :O(

after unsuccessfully trying to keep my 4 yr old away (sounds cruel!) from Louie coz he had a cough & cold, Louie has caught it anyway.

had me up 3 times in the night not always for a feed though, hes coughing & is bunged up, can't believe he has a cold at 5 wks old
i'm sooo worried about him

any suggestions?

alex had one very young too - horrid isnt it poor little love.

we used snuffle babe - just dabbed some on his vest or on a muslin nearbyat night - and in the day i would put some on the outward facing bit of a dummy - just so it was under his nose for a bit (obviously dont leave him with it so he can get in in his mouth! seemed to help him breath easier at least. otherwise Karvol capsules are good too.

snuffle babe says three months + i think but also says it can be used earlier if Dr ok's it. think they are just covering their backs - we used it under three months but you might want to check it out.
