Yes I know I have lost me mind but then again how can I lose something I never had in the first place but anyhoo moving on

I just texted hubby and said I need our marriage certifcate as still in process of name changing, I left it on the side with a load paperwork that needed sorting out,

he replied the papers on the poofie, I said yep were you moved it to

he repiled oh thought it was all rubbish so I chucked it out last night that pile, when I was sorting out for the bin man

Im sooo angry (and sadly upset to) did he not use his brains to look through it to make sure it is rubbish or ask me, stupid stupid man

Can marriage certificates be replaced?

Yes they canbe replaced.
You need to contact the registry office in the town you go married

yeah you have to apply for copies though from the authority that you got married with I think......we were told ours would be something like £3.50 until the pages in the register that we signed were used up and then when the register went into storage it would be £7 for copies.

I live in a different area to were I got married I have no way of gettin to falmouth or callin them, gonna have to hope they have an email address, think Im gonna order a few copies, but its not the same as the original
