Losing fluid...

I don't know what the swabs test for but I guess the r used to telling the difference

Well done for ringing her, we are all the same thinking we are being a nuisance, but hay without any pregnant ladies there would be no midwives! Or human population for that matter, o god this is turning into one of my dizzy moments, sorry dee, anyway glad she has reassured you. Hope it all settles now. Loads a love. X

Thanks for all of your advice girls. It's so nice that we all have eachother to talk to about these issues, it can be quite scary being pregnant can't it! xxxxxx

Glad all is ok according to midwide Dee. I've had simlar, I came downstairs after a shower the other day and I felt a gush but it was white but it was so much it scared me. Hope your ok hun and if you dont feel happy stuff what the midwife said and go. Its whatever you feel is best. xx

Only seeing this now hun but glad the midwife isnt too concerned. Just keep an eye on it. My MW told me that if I experienced this I should really only be concerned if I soak a pad within an hour. Still, think i wud be climbing the walls!

Dee i've had this. tbh (tmi) i'm wet most of the time :oooo: i have a pantyliner on all day and night! had a scan today for other reasons and he is fine. if i got a big 'gush' i would call the mw but if i had little gushes and i've not been too concerned so far! xxx

Hope ur feeling more reasured now dee, and hope it stops the worry! I'm wondering whether to get myself checked out too as every day I have a little damp patch and a bit of discharge. Don't know whether to wait til Tuesday for consultant appt or maternity day unit/assessment centre. I am a worrier! I get scanned every 2 weeks so surely they would see if I was losing fluid? X

I have to wear a towel every day I have so much wet. Got me worrying now! I will ask at mw appointment next week. X

im going to do same hu coz i have similar it seems common though on here but just to put our minds at rest x

It seems that alot of us have been suffering with this then! I have had a pantyliner on since this afternoon and have not had any wetness since. The midwife did say that it can be quite common to have a watery discharge, i just find in strange when i can actually feel it running out!

there are a few of us who feel 'wet' all day and night so i would guess its ok. might be worth asking in tri 3? xx
