My LO's dad is a complete idiot. He had an affair, lied, caused so many problems and it ended in such a mess, BUT he is a great dad and makes a lot of effort with our LO so i let go of everything that happened and we get along for our LO's sake. He's been a pain in the butt about my OH and tried to cause problems between us, luckily neither of us are immature enough to let it cause an issue or sink to his level, but he says he wants to talk to my OH today when he drops DD off and he wants to talk about our LO, i understand they do need to chat because he has this idea that my OH is trying to replace him as her dad, which he isnt! but i understand that, the problem i have is he wants to speak to him in private and frankly if its about MY daughter i would like to be there, and with all the problems he has caused im very nervous about what hes going to say, and most importantly he insisted that he stayed whilst i spoke to his 'bit on the side' about her involvement with ella (they are now a couple) so why should i have to leave when he speaks to my OH? and we didnt do anything?! i know im probably being unreasonable but i really love my family and my life at the moment, i just want it to get messed up because of an immature child dressed as a man

I agree that I would not leave the room either when it's about your LO xx

If he insisted on staying whilst you spoke to his woman, then you do the same. If its about lo then obvs it involved you. Though men do seen to prefer man-to-man chats x

If he couldnt leave the room for you dont leave the room for him. Tell him OH is only going to repeat the conversation to you as soon as he has gone because your a couple and tell each other everything :) x
