Looks like I am around for a while yet!

I decided to put this update in a new thread.

First of all thanks to Dannii for all those updates for me!!

The contractions suddenly stopped last night around 1am. I was actually upset that I cried. Silly I know. I had my midwife appointment today and immediately she said that I looked utterly miserable. I got the usual checks and everything was fine. She gave me a sweep and said that she could feel the babies head through the cervix which is promising and that there was a lot of 'gunk in there'. I had to laugh at that! She gave me the good news... induction has been booked for 3rd August at 2pm! I started to perk up at finally being given a date and seeing it being put in the book!

I've got another appointment for next Thursday but the midwife told me that I might go in the next 48 hours due to the sweep but even if I don't I have finally been given a date of Aimee's arrival.

Sorry ladies but it looks like me and my 'toddler bump' are going to be around for a lil while yet!

Don't worry though JoAnn, we're all rooting for *Team JoAnn* now that Baby Moofa has started making his/her appearance!
