Hi everyone! I'm 7+3 and have had light bleeding and spotting since about 5 weeks. I've had 2 scans and all is well! Saw a little, fluttery heartbeat on Friday and I'm so in love! I just can't shake the anxiety about what's making me bleed/spot. I know they found a fibroid but the sonographer said she didn't find any reason for the bleeds and said I could just be a bleeder! Has anyone else had this?

Please don't say anything that'll make me worry any more than I already am, I'm begging you! I really can't take it!

I feel like I'll never be able to relax and enjoy being pregnant! Haha. Honestly, the anxiety these little beans bring is unreal!

Thanks in advance ladies xxx

Hiya Sweetheart,
If everything seemed okay on the scan then I think you shouldn't worry, I was also a bleeder in my 3 pregnancies and worried like mad which is understandable but some people just do bleed, try to stay calm and positive and I am sure everything will be fine

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your response. Obviously, this is my first so I'm sh%&#ing myself a bit! Haha. Every little twinge, spot, cramp, backache is making me crazy! :dohh: Driving myself insane! It's reassuring to know it does just happen sometimes though!

being scared is completley normal, pregnancy is an emotional rollercoaster especially with your first child but try not to worry yourself to much, enjoy every second of being pregnant because you will miss it so much when s/he is born. I have 3 children and miss being pregnant with them xx

Thank you so much @charlene09 , you're a very reassuring angel! Xx

I am 38 weeks pregnant and I have bled all the way through.
Started at 7 weeks and had constant bleeding on and off. Some people do just bleed. If your scan is fine I wouldn’t worry xxx

Thank you so much for replying. I had more bleeding yesterday and I'm so worried. I was stood in work and just felt a gush. The Dr said there could be an explanation that isn't sinister but I can't help but feel devastated. They'll scan me towards the end of the week hopefully.
Anyway, thanks again for your reply and I'm so glad everything has turned out well for you! Xx

I had bleeding twice early on in this pregnancy, once at 8 weeks and once at 11 weeks. It was a subchorionoc hemmorage and was gone by 12 week scan. I’m 17 weeks now and have had no more bleeding. Try to keep some hope, i know bleeding is the last thing you want to see in pregnancy but it’s not always bad x

Thank you @Rainbow1234 that's really reassuring. I'm really trying to stay positive! It's so hard not to feel like it's a disaster though, especially with that massive gush of blood. It's such a shock. I'm praying my story is like yours though, thank you for sharing it xx

You could have an erosion on your cervix. My bleeding in later pregnancy has been down to this. Things can aggravate it like sex or certain activities. It’s nothing to worry about it just means you bleed easier! I bleed again last week and my baby is still fine xxxx

Thank you so much @Aprilxxx that's very reassuring! Just waiting for the epau to call me and arrange a scan. Congratulations on your healthy baby boy, I bet you're so excited! Xxx

I'm almost 17 weeks, and have had 6 episodes of bleeding and spotting since 5 weeks too.

It's so stressful. All the scans I've had had found no reason for it and just been told it's one of those things unfortunately. If your scans havent picked anything up I'm sure you'll be fine. Seems like alot of us go through it. Makes you bloody panic tho doesn't it xxx

Thank you, this is just the reassurance I needed! I'm hoping it's an ectropion cervix or something as I keep bleeding if I have to push to have a poo (so sorry for tmi!!) and I've read that can be a symptom?! Fingers crossed! Glad all is well with you! Xx

I’m 17 weeks and have bled on and off (mostly on) since about 5 weeks! Some scans have shown haematomas but sometimes they haven’t seen any reason. For almost 2 weeks now I’ve had lots of red gushing blood which has been terrifying but each time the midwife has found a very happy heartbeat and wiggly baby. So I’m trying not to panic and just accept that I’m going to be someone who bleeds!

Thanks so much for sharing this, it really is reassuring to know that not all bleeds are super sinister! I'm hoping I'm just one of those people too. I did have a scan last Friday and the sonography very easily found a heartbeat but no reason for any bleeding at all! God, it's just all so scary! Haha. So happy that your little bean is all cosy and safe! Xx

I had spotting at 6w3d, 6w6d, then again 7w6d im now 8w4d
I had a scan on my first bleed at 6w3d & was told all was perfect and not to worry

I'm doing my best but do anxious! I have another scan on Friday so fingers crossed everything is progressing as it should!
I'm so sorry to hear you've been in pain but what a relief to be able to see that everything is perfect! 12 weeks can't come quickly enough! Xx

Hi ladies,

Just wanted to let you know that I had my scan this morning and everything is great! The sonographer said that there's a very strong heartbeat and that my little bean is perfectly happy in there chilling! She said she saw a very small area of possible hemorrhage but couldn't be sure. The midwife said possible ectropion but didn't want to examine and irritate it.

Thank you all so much for your kind and reassuring words, I'll probably need them again at some point! Haha. Xxx
