Hello,
I'm 26 weeks + 2 days. For a while now i've been suffering with pain in my pelvic area. A friend of mine mentioned Pelvic Girdle Pain and upon reading it up on the trusty old site of Dr Google, i'm pretty sure that this is what i've been suffering with.
I have an appointment with my midwife on 1st May, they can't get me in any sooner.
I was wondering if anyone has tried maternity belts or anything else that could possibly help me get through the days and nights.
I'm not sleeping as the pain gets so much, i just tend to sit up and cry. If i end up falling asleep and roll onto my back, my partner has to roll me back over onto my side (he calls me a lost turtle) otherwise, i'm stuck and in pain.
I'm just getting so uncomfortable and as a plus size girl, i'm not sure what the right route would be to take.
I'm just looking for a bit of advice and i kind of want to know that i'm not the only person suffering with this.
Any help or advice will be very much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Nat.
