Looking for advise

I'm new to this I am 5 weeks pregnant today and I have been bleeding since lunch time it started off quite red but now more a dark red brownish colour but been quite a lot of clots I have also had cramps I had ivf and phoned clinic today I've to go in for a blood test tomm, I'm just really worried has this happened to anyone else

I'm 8 weeks Nikkie and I've had bleeding on and off since Thursday. Red and brown, at different times, accompanied by what feels like period pain.

I went into hospital for a scan on friday morning and they could see babies heartbeat and all looked well, although they could see the area of bleeding on the scan too. It's being treated as unexplained. I'm trying to keep calm and just get through the next few weeks until the 12 week scan now, but it's hard.
