long hair or short hair??

i've had long hair for years and i was really fed up with it-
it took me so long to straighten so i made my sister cut it off..
but now i hate it, do you think it looks better before or after??
sorry i dont have a very good pic of it now!

I prefer your long hair - you look older with shorter hair. I did the same thing in a moment of madness and regret it, but its growing!

you alternativley could of layered it and had loads of choppy layers added to make it more manageable.

yeah i've got quite alot of layers in it because my hairs so curly that
i need them to add movement- my mum said my i look older too
but i take that as a good thing because i'm 25 and i always get id' in pubs etc..lol i've always looked too young!

I prefer it longer too. I did the same thing, I had long blonde hair and chopped it off and went darker. I'm now trying to grow it back and go lighter again

I prefer the longer hair too.

I have naturally curly hair which is past my shoulders and it is such a pain to straighten.
Sometimes i wish i would have the guts to go for a short style, but know the moment i have it cut off i would regret it

i liked it longer too..... sorry, to make you feel better i did the same thing and now relli miss my long hair, got a fringe to compensate and now i dont mind it Growing on me, maybe get a fringe ??

I have to say long too hunni. I had hair down to my bum that I could sit on and got my Mum to cut it to my shoulders and I regretted that for years!!!!!!!!!! Its getting long now though but no-where near my bum yet

lol..oh well my hair grows really fast anyway so it shouldnt be this short for long.. i couldnt have a fringe becuse my hair is so curly and frizzy it needs some weight to pull it so it would just frizz!
i have really amazing straightners or my hair would just be a puffball-
also i have used a chemical straightener in my hair, and its amazing!!

I say longer but...

I think it would look even better really short ..like short spikey at back longer fringe ..almost emo cut

i'd love it like that but its too curly

it wouldn't look good it would just be frizzy-even at this length i have to
straighten the hell out of it!

Even though your hair looks great on both pictures. But I am a fan of long hair! I hate having my hair cut, apart from experimenting with layers and a side fringe when I fancy some change... in my experience I think thick and/or frizzy hair need some good length and weight to be more easily tamed (mine is not frizzy but desperately thick!)

The good thing about going for the chop is that it will cut off any damaged hair and remember hair grows again!

I had waist length hair, had it chopped to collar bone length when I first found out I was pregnant, preferred it longer, so have left it to grow again...it's well on it's way now! It doesn't take long to grow.

By the way, your hair looked ok shorter, just more flattering longer!

To be honest, I like it both ways They're both very different and I think I prefer it short!
I think its natural to miss your long hair when you cut it short.
