When I give him his last feed for the night I wrap the blanket around him making sure a portion of it is behind his head so when his head touches the bed it's the same temperature/material etc.
I think for the first week or 2 it's normal for a breastfed baby to be pretty much stuck to you it's how you get in sync with each other feeding-wise and all this not putting down business will benefit you in the long run.
