LO doesn't like being put down!

When I give him his last feed for the night I wrap the blanket around him making sure a portion of it is behind his head so when his head touches the bed it's the same temperature/material etc.

I think for the first week or 2 it's normal for a breastfed baby to be pretty much stuck to you it's how you get in sync with each other feeding-wise and all this not putting down business will benefit you in the long run.

3 days old is very young, it took us 8 weeks to be able to put little one down properly. That was when he was happy and content :)

We were the same, I found the first week horrible tbh, we slept downstairs, I stayed awake all night cos she wouldn't go sown and I.was scared of falling asleep with her, and we had visitors all day...when we got to 6 weeks it got sooooo much easier! Now she goes down at 8 after bath and bottle wide awake and gets herself to sleep with no fuss at all. Still cuddles for daytime naps though, which I love :)
Welcome to b&t hun :) Xx
