Contractions began at 12am last night with tightenings and period like pains. Almost 12 hours later and just 3 hours sleep I'm not much further! Contractions are starting to get stronger and are roughly 7-8 minutes apart.
Excited to have gone into labour naturally!

Yay! Well done baby, sending positive labour vibes your way! Good luck hun xx

I can't believe that it's finally here, this pregnancy has gone so fast!

eeeekkk! good luck hun - keep us posted please :D x

Contractions are starting to feel stronger but not getting any closer together yet. Waiting for the OH to get home so looking forward to getting some cuddles and comfort!
I have a feeling that this may be a long labour!

I would be! Been so jealous of all these April babies. However, there really hasn't been much progress not anywhere near to going to the hospital yet.

They're starting to slow down to 8 minutes apart :( any tips of how to speed up contractions?

I don't know if it helps but have you got a ball to bounce on? Plus many laps up and downstairs if your body will allow, keep moving and let gravity help xx

Don't have any tips as I'm a newbie to this myself but wanted to wish you lots of luck and hope things pick up soon for you. Exciting :) xx

After almost 24 hours contracting I've been told to go home as I'm only half a cm dilated. I was so gutted that I cried! Long night ahead...

Aww so sorry it's not moving faster hun
Try and get some rest x

:-( so rubbish and frustrating for you. Try to keep calm and think about relaxing at home to conserve your energy. In the next 24 hours you should have your wee bundle to cuddle. You can do it! xx

Thanks all for the support :) will try and get some sleep tonight!
