not sure if this is the right place to put this

as some of you may know I developed an itch about 4 weeks before E was born and after she was born I thought that would be the last of the itch which it was

Had routine bloods taken for liver function on monday and the docs have foned me to say the levels have shot up to 700 now if i remeber right the range is 6-14 but at the time i didny quite put these things together ive to see the doc tomorrow to discuss things

i feel well in myself and im sure if i looked like a simpson someone would have said i dont feel tired or out of sorts or anything so now wondering what will happen next cant be that urgent or they wouldny have sed wait till tomorrow

just wondered if any of you ladies that were unforunate to have OC had any issues afterwards xx

I had OC hun but it went after having my daughter x

Thanks hun I have never had any problems since E was born but have to get liver tests checked regularly cos of a genetic condition so thot wen the GP receptionist sed a level was abnomrla that it was the one that is normal for me tho it is abnormal for anyione else if that makes sense xx

I had a high bilirubin count when I was taken into hospital with severe gallstones. I was kept in until my gallbladder was removed. This was 6 weeks postpartum and despite telling my GP about it at my 6 week check 3 days before, he said I'd be fine but I was rushed to hospital in agony!!
If you're jaundiced I'd definitely ask to get it checked out, especially if you're having any upper abdominal pain or strange poo!! It's apparently quite common after giving birth, although I did suffer with it throughout my pregnancy too.

Hope you're well soon xx

I also had OC in my second pregnancy but my levels went back to normal straight after delivery. Hope you get back to normal very soon!

Thanks ladies

I spoke with the consultant that keeps a check on my liver yesterday and he said its not the one that caused the itch that has gone up but a different liver enzyme and he was confused when I sed I was well but did mention gallstones but as i was not in pain etc it was highly unlikely

Then I sed that I had been out on saturday and drank 5 bottles (he asked if i meant 5 btles of wine hell no id have bn flat on my back) of blue wkd and he is more than sure that is what has caused it talk about lingering in someones system

geting bloods checkd again on monday just to make sure xx
