Bu t we have most of our future family's names picked out. It all just rests on what order we pick them lol

Girls:
Alice April
Isabella Carmen

Boys:
Joey James

Can't devide on this last one as need middle names which go with them
It's either
Max or Nicholas

What do you ladies think? Xxx

Love Alice and Isabella. Isabella is on our shortlist and Alice would be but we have a friend called Alice so we can't have that one too.

I adore the name Max but we felt it was too short. I'm not keen on the longer versions of Max

Any thoughts on a middle name that would go with max though? That's what I'm mainly struggling with tbh

The name tommy popped in my head last night (as a first name) and oh really liked it. Oh hates Nicholas so that is now replaced with tommy but again would need middle names to go with them both. Any suggestions? Xx

I think it depends on the surname. Max James is nice but it needs to flow with your surname xx

Oh yes, I didn't see James was your Joey middle name. We're having the same middles names if we have more than one, I guess you want them to have different ones? I should've looked at your name too, would've told me your surname!! xx

Haha not to worry lol yes were going for different middle names I was going to go with families names but im not keen on mine or oh's dads names (I know that sound mean but I also wouldn't want mums to feel left out if we used dads names and not theirs xx

It is nice to use family names but you do have to like them too. My dad's name is John so we would consider that for a middle name but my OH's dad is called Ian and I'm not keen on that! What's your OH's middle name? We are using our own middle names xx

What about grandparents names? Our middle names will only be family names as I want to pay respect to them as without them I wouldn't be here. I am very keen to use my Grandpa's name as a boys middle name (my dads side) but DH's family have a tradition where a son should take their grandfather's first name as their middle name (from their dads side) but I don't like my FIL's name!

Haha kwarbee my oh's name is ian lol. Im not keen on it either (how mean). Oh's middle name is james so thats been used lol. All other family names i have are as follows:
My Dad - david, edwin
Grandad - david
Grandad - william (used by my sister
Oh dad - roy
So not much choice there im afraid which is why we will be needing a new name lol.
Belfa dont let others dictate what you are to name your child, just because its *their tradition doesnt mean it has to be yours or maybe have 2 middle names with the grandpa's as the 2nd middle name so its there but will only be used on official things like birth certificates etc xxx

Ah I can see why you're needing a new name - shame William's gone. My nephew's a William named after family too so it's also out for us.

Do you and DH have any special places that could give you inspiration? My DH proposed at the Lincoln monument in Washington and I quite fancy Lincoln as a name (not sure that it goes with my surname though) x
