Hi All,

I bought a new kettle when Ollie was born but it has terrible limescale. I was told that you cant use de-scaler as it could seriously harm your baby. What do you ladies do? The bottles look disgusting with bits floating around.. it cant be good for him!

we britta filter the water first, it helps cut down the limescale to start with (possibly not helpful now, bt maybe in future).

You could try boiling in a saucepan instead. Our kettle has a mesh bit covering the spout so the limescale doesn't come out (it was only a cheap one)

You cant use a de-limescaler..! oops!!

Well, if its fit for us to drink after its been delimescaled then im sure its fine for LO

I do mine atleast once a month, for the last 9 months and Coreys been just fine!! I live where theres HORRID water, and filter all my water, but it still gets scalley!

OH NO!?!?....do you mean the mesh ball things you put in the kettle?.....i just bought one for our kettle cause of bad limescale and making bottles!.....why can they halm baby?????
